Starting June 24, 2026, the exhibition’s layout will be revamped. The display will be enriched with a new selection of twenty-five paintings and sculptures, some of which will replace works already on view and others that will be new additions, with the aim of showcasing the richness of the museum’s storage collections and opening up new perspectives on a complex and fascinating history. The works already on display—by artists such as Balla, Casorati, and Sironi—will thus be joined by other major figures in art history, such as De Nittis, Mafai, and Severini, as well as lesser-known artists who played a central role in the collection’s evolution.
